SAN VIGILIO

Your hiking day at San Vigilio begins with a wonderful cable car ride that takes visitors up to the 1,486-metre-high mountain station. Extensive hiking trails for every type of hiker start from there: families can expect hiking trails suitable for prams, for pleasure hikers there are wonderful panoramic hikes and for experienced mountaineers there are challenging tours to the 2,607 metre high Hochwart.

ULTENTAL VALLEY

This authentic and original valley awaits its hikers with a wide variety of hiking trails. Particularly well-known is the Ultner Höfeweg, which leads through green meadows and larch forests. The hiking offer also includes hikes to beautiful alpine pastures, romantic forest walks and breathtaking mountain tours.

PASSEIER VALLEY

Pleasure hiking in the Passeier Valley past traditional Alpine huts, old farms and unique Alpine pastures to savour and relax. The north-facing location, 300 sunny days a year, and fascinating climatic contrasts make the Passeier Valley a unique destination. Particularly popular is the Passeier High Mountain Trail, captivating every hiker with its unique panoramic views.

VINSCHGAU VALLEY

The hiker's paradise with sunshine guarantee entices with numerous hiking trails. Leisurely hikes on the sunny Waal trails that lead past the irrigation systems of the Vinschgau Valley, challenging via ferratas and hiking trails in the Ortler area and the well-known Sonnenberg mountain  are just a few of the many excursion destinations in the Vinschgau Valley.

CROSSING OF THE ALPS ON E5

From Oberstdorf to Merano - hike on the famous long-distance trail E5 on foot across the Alps. The European long-distance trail E5 leads from the Atlantic coast of France in Brittany over the Alps to Verona, Italy. On the stage from Oberstdorf, the northern side of the Alps, to the southern sun of Merano, three countries are crossed. The surrounding mountain scenery changes almost hourly - the experience is unique!

SCHNALSTAL VALLEY

The Schnalstal Valley hiking area in South Tyrol stretches from the valley entrance to the glacier. Its nature and villages are - in many respects - among the outstanding gems in the Alps. The Schnalstal Valley has been one of "Europe's Hiking Villages" since 2018. A top-class hiking package awaits you here: sandy forest paths, rocky glacier trails and zigzagging paths through lush forests.

MARTELLTAL VALLEY

From the valley entrance in Latsch up to the 3,760 m high peaks of Cevedale and Zufallspitze in the Ortler region, a well-equipped side valley of the Vinschgau.

Hikes in Martelltal Valley range from easy irrigation channel paths to alpine summit tours. Enjoy the untouched nature and the fresh mountain air of South Tyrol.

IFINGER

At 2,781 meters, Hirzer is the highest mountain in the Sarntal Alps. The view is worth it!

With the cable car in just a few minutes from Dorf Tirol to Hochmuth - a magnificent mountain landscape with a unique panoramic view over Merano and the Etschtal.
