As a founding and partner hotel of Golfclub Lana/Brandis, we have many years of experience with the golf courses around Merano. One of the great advantages is that several courses can be reached from the Meranerhof within a short drive, each offering a different golfing experience depending on the season and time of day.
Our recommendations for planning your golf day:
Golfclub Lana/Brandis: approx. 10–15 minutes from the hotel
Golfclub Passeier.Meran: approx. 20–25 minutes
The Blue Monster – Golfclub Eppan: approx. 20 minutes
Our preferred tee times: between 7:30 and 10:00 am or later in the afternoon from around 3:30 pm
Best avoided: midday during the hottest summer months and busy weekend mornings
Benefit for our guests: 20% green fee discount at participating Golf in South Tyrol courses
This makes it easy to combine a round of golf with a relaxing afternoon at the Meranerhof or an evening in the centre of Merano.

Golfclub Lana/Brandis is especially close to the hotel, making it an excellent choice for an uncomplicated round without having to dedicate the entire day to golf.
Golfclub Passeier.Meran is also within easy reach and a round of golf can be nicely combined with an excursion into the Passeier Valley.
The Blue Monster – Golfclub Eppan, around 20 minutes from the Meranerhof, is another interesting alternative. The modern course is a great choice for guests who would like to experience different courses and add some variety to their golf days.
